Her core values promote a multi-sectoral, community-led, research based approach toward creating for us, by us, to service us to reduce risks and/or increase protection from harm associated with adverse lived experiences. She teaches and enjoys the nontraditional approach to helping others define a strength-based approach to creating a lifestyle of well-being-comfortable, healthy, and happy. She believes in the collective power of being being apart of something bigger than ourselves.
Through her research she has made historical contributions to educate communities of the importance of technology in practice. Her recent innovation is helping communities through the world to cultivate well being at home, work, school, community and play.
We honor and center the voices of people with lived experience and support their leadership. We build communities for us, by us, to serve us. We invest in collective power to embody our strength to build high performing, high growth potential social change organizations and develop strategies for distinction in peer-supportive environments where they lead, serve and advocate as social entrepreneurs.
Dr. Eveangel H. Savage,
On behalf of the US Institute of Diplomacy and Human Rights, it is my pleasure to notify you that you have been selected to participate in the International Summit on Disability Rights as a Delegate, to be held from December 1 to 5, 2022, in Istanbul, Turkey.
ISDR 2022 is a high-level conference and the world's only global event that brings together 3 pillars - governments, corporates and civil society - to work on bridging the gap between understanding and action for disability rights. This year’s theme is “Public-Private Partnerships & Social Responsibility.”
ISDR 2022 will be held on-site at DoubleTree by Hilton Avcılar Hotel located in Avcılar district of Istanbul, Turkey, and hosted by the US Institute of Diplomacy and Human Rights in partnership with the Avcılar Municipality and Mayor Turan Hançerli. It provides a unique opportunity for advocates to connect with leaders from the public, private, civil society, and international organizations. Simultaneously, exhibitors will feature products, services, and innovative technologies to support inclusion and expand opportunities for people with disabilities.
